If you are over 5-10, you will not be able to see the overhead traffic signals, so you'll also need to find one a these.
A traffic light viewer. No kidding. These things were necessary when a visor was installed. It's a half moon shaped prism that mounts on the steering column, or the dash...and...it actually works.

my wifes uncle has one of those prisms on the dash of his slammed 51 chev 2 dr hard top. His is mounted in one of the defroster strip mounting holes
