Early 99 spyder

Got my spyder in today, just wanted to make sure it's the right one. It's got two hose connections plus a 3/8" tapped hole. Don't remeber seeing it on the other ones pictured??? F81Z*6899*BA
Thanks!

Well that was the "bright" moment for the day. Got the adapters out and it fits. Tried to edit but it didn't change the post. How well does the turbo seal w/the bevel edge against the turbo? Need another gasket than the orange ring that the old intake used??

IMO you could use the same orange ring if it is OK and it seal fine, just you are going to need a newer clamp.
Clamp (Y-pipe to 94-97 compressor): F81Z-8287DA or M/craft Service Part #YF-2488

I ordered the clamp when I ordered the spyder. Got the part #'s from one of your previous posts, made it easier than guessing! Thanks!

Thanks for the info, but the reducers should be 2 3/8 x 2" IIRC, does 2.5 x 2" will work?
And this are a correct prices from BANKS??? (directly or from a dealer?).
6.0 cooler $90 Banks
tubes $20/set Banks

Sorry for the confusion, the cooler and tubes are used ford takeoffs. Not new banks parts.
I can't remeber off the top of my head but their is one or more others who are using the bigger reducers w/out a probelm. Figure for the price it's worth a shot. They were over $50 each from ford (if I remeber right).

Does diesel site still carry those boots? They have the exact size.

A good friend of mine is a certified diesel mechanic. He has always said that you don't want to skimp on intercooler boots or clamps. Although those guys are pulling boost in the 40's, its something to remember.
