rough running 302

Have a 1993 f150 w/ a 1986 302 car motor recently put in it.. it runs but is very rough,when i give it gas it pops through the intake,3 out of 8 spark plugs are hot the rest are only warm,can anyone PLEASE tell me what the problem is?

can this be a bad timing chain?

Sounds like a timing issue to me. Check your wire routing and timing. Could be fuel related as well.. check fuel filter, check for fuel pressure and flow.

Check compression on all cylinders.
Check that all spark plugs are firing.

What car did the motor come from?

I think it came from a 1986 mustang it had aluminum valve covers on it and it has roller lifters but i dont know anything else about it

OK.. so what firing order do you have the plugs wired for? I'm pretty sure that motor requires the HO firing order 13726548.

tried that order and it won't even fire the intake that was on it just said 5.0 their was no H.O. on it must not be a mustang motor i don't know . But thanks for all the help i need it.
