Easiest way is to drain the coolant into a graduated bucket; that way you'll know exactly how much antifreeze/distilled water (50/50) to put back in. Don't let the old mix out on the ground, as it's bad news for groundwater and pets; most towns have places for recycling.

Are you just doing the radiator, or the entire system? Just doing the radiator doesn't accomplish much. Your user manual should tell you the capacity of the entire system.

seems like i used about 10 quarts. you buy two gallons of antifreeze, use most of it, then top off with distilled water. after you drive around and get it hot, you might add a quart of water to top it off.--- one thing to consider is after you drain the system (by using the radiator drain plug) try putting 2 gallons of distilled water in the system. startup and run 15 minutes, then drain again. that gets a mini flush and gets more of the old crud out. then install the new antifreeze, and top off with water.
