There is hardly no tuning to these bows. Once everything is set it stays that way. I shoot at about 65# with 80% let off, it shoots just is fast and flat as the day I brought it home. I have had to tweek the site a time or two, but it fell over in the barn. I have had this bow for 2 years, bought it used, and haven't had to change a thing. The bow i replaced (still have) is an Oneida Aeroforce X80. I had it for 3 years before I made the trip up to Buck Pole and they said it was perfect needed no adjusting. It still shoots great, just don't use it anymore. I was going to turn it down so the wife could learn to shoot a bow, but the lowest it goes to is 45# and she still could not pull it back comfortably. Maybe I'll sell it.

Very cool, yeah, I was talked out of it by Aubran Archery, because of the reason stated earlier, shame on me..

Never heard of an Oneida bow? check out buckpolearchery.com. The bow looks midevil. It has the end of a traditional bow, but is a compound. There are cams, but they are located by the pivot points. This is by far the smoothest bow I have drawn, there is no wall or hump to overcome. It pulls the same all the way back.

I don't shoot a cam bow, so no humps here.

ive seen them before. Nothing is as acurate as a compound bow with a set let off. You know your in the right location every time you draw. The hump you are talking about means you have like a 60-80% let off. i perfur a smaller percentage let off. My bow right now has a "soft" cam with an 80% let off and there is no hump.

The wheels are good, but aren't you holding back your draw weight?

Every bow has there pros and cons, mine is quite large. I think it is 42 or 43" end to end.

Gonna go out in the woods this weekend and see if I can hit the 10 point that has been showing up on camera.

The deer hitting the Explorer is starting to be a pain in the a$$. The insurance company says the vehicle is totalled, but it actually is under the 75%. That number being the value to repair cost, which is actually about $500 away. They still want to total the truck and give me a salvage title.

I am getting tired of arguing with different people at the insurance company.

Just needed to vent I guess, rant over

The wheels on my bow have no hump that I notice, maybe right at the end a small one, but you can hold it back fairly easily once its back.

I don't shoot much because of my shoulder.

I've seen those bows your talking about with the cams in the center. I'm not overly crazy about them. Shoot a long bow, or a normal compound. =)
I'm sure they are fine, but its to many working parts for a simple application.
I'd love to have a new mathews or PSE, but ****, I can't afford 900 for the bear bones. =\

Getting up easly to wait for the big boy to come through. I've been seeing a nice 8 roaming around the woods, making a mess of the trees. Hopefully he will let me get a shot in the AM. If not I'll look for him in the evening.

Anybody else have any luck yet?
