Looking for a diesel engine.

Im looking for a 5.9L 24V cummins or a 7.3L powerstroke.

How about a 3116 Cat, runs great complete with turbo. $1350

send me your email and I will send the pics. It is still in the truck so someone could hear it run. The pics are not great because of this. Its a 3116 Cat with 150K on it runs excellent. JK 1-608-317-2536

If you don't mind my asking... Why are you looking for a 24v cummins? The 12v get better mileage and can make more power much easier. Plus they are easier to work on.

They are also less street friendly.

Modded up is what I meant. While a 24 valve will cost more to make more power, you can change form a high powered tune, to an economy tune easily. I've heard from quite a few people that the higher you mod a 12 valve up, the worse street manners it gets.

Ok I understand now. Ya, I agree completely, if you turn up the 12v your mileage will drop quite a bit.

If you don't have $1350 to buy the Cat, I don't think you are going to get a 7.3 or a Cm bought! Just my thought.

not only bought but swapped out a swap could turn into a pretty expensive ordeal
