I have an 04 F250 6.0 with a stainless MBRP turbo back exhaust with no cat. I also have the isspro tripple gauge pod with trans temp, pyrometer and turbo boost gauges. I am looking for a tuner that adds HP and torque.
I have been looking on the net and looking on ebay. The Edge Juice with attitude looks good but I wanted to get some opinions before just buying something.
Whats the chip that has the best bang for the buck?? I have a few friends with Dodge Hemi's and they want me to bring my rig to the track. I want to put the tuner in before I go to ensure a win!
SCT with custom tunes. Dont waste your money on anything else. A vast majority of the people on here use them. Do the research on what the wrong tuner will do to the 6.0L and tranny.
Wow Tippman I thought you had fallen off the earth!!
You can pick up a SCT about anywhere and Spartan Diesel now offers his custom tunes for free. I would recomend buying from him though incase you need support in the future.
You can get a tuner from ebay and then approach a custom tuner or just buy the tuner from then and get a bit more support. Most people here use Spartan, however Eric @ Innovative Diesel comes highly recommended from guys who compete in diesel racing.

hahah yea, I haven't been online for a loooong time. How ya been?
I had the Edge Juice on my 2004, it cost me the Truck. At 14,000 Transmission failed, 14,800 (white smoke) Head Gaskets, EGR and cooler. Never ran the same, traded it in on a 2005 and cost me $7,000 for the trade difference. Lucky for me the repairs were covered under warranty, un-lucky was the Edge Juice.

Yea, the edge had no transmission tuning, and used timimg to make power so it was hard on the heads.

I totally agree - go with the advice here as its been quite a few years of credible testing and research that has brought this one to the top of the heap. Get custom tunes from either Innovative or Spartan and you will be happy - they can fine tune it to suit your needs and there are some options they will ask you about whether you want them or not!
