I believe you can get up to 601, but im not sure on that, i could find the biggest stroker you could build out of a 460, or you could throw on some boss 9 heads and get 800 ponies on PUMP gas... pm me if you want a linky....
Its all good, i enjoy stroked BBF, especially in REAL off road rigs,
Ok time for a minor hi-jack.
Mud dragsters... Im kinda confused on these, are they considered an off road type vehcile or not, when i see them, the big boys spend more time flying across the pits, with a hop and a couple of times they touch back down to earth to skip on further down the pit.... So are they considered off road vehicles or a right brothers type of air craft?
Yup mud dragsters are off road vehicles I guess. Some are driven every day some are just for muddrags only. Its pretty neat going side by side down a muddy pit as hard as you can go. Some off them go down the track like the taking off in a jet. One kid I know has the hottest Ford muddrager i have ever seen. Its just incredible the power that thing puts outs. Ford power all the way. I wish you were closer to me i could show you. Oh sorry for the hijack here. Hey Truckin hope that answers some questions. PM if you have any more. Thanks again for your help.
I love to watch and compete in the mud drags where they both start at one and race to the end. Not so much one guy hitting a bump at full speed and flying OVER the mud.
I made a mud hole when I was younger for my jeep on my property. I kept tearing it up in the quads and stuff, then I made a mud drag and connected to it. Right now its the only part that still is muddy. Its part of an underground spring. Lol.
Anyways. Maybe I should lift a Model T.
What are the chances I could find one of those though. Haha.
If you could find a Volkswagen "Thing" body for a descent price, that would definitely draw peoples attention with it sitting high and a healthy 385 under the hood
I wish i could find the link to it... maybe somebody has it... But it was amazing what that guy did, his fab work was amazing... He started out with a bunch of sheet metal, and ended up with an almost perfect replica of a hummer one of the military ones, i think it was like the h1 alpha. I dont know there exact name, but it wasn't the slant back, i know that. But either way it was AMAZING. Took him like 2 years to build it.
This will be my next project actually, has nothing to do with off road but owell... Thinkin about stuffing a 429 into a ranger, 4 linking the rear, lowering it a bit, and goin around town killing all the corvettes and the ricers that THINK there fast...
