Okay, first off, has anybody tried injecting compressed natural gas into these new 6.4 liters? I read in a recent diesel mag, that a duracrap was getting 55 mpg highway! Also, would it be possible to combine this with a spartan tuner or use the spartan tuner to control the CNG injection? Would it cool the EGT's at all? Would it help keep the black smoke to a minimum? Could it maybe lower the emissions at all?
What mods would work best with CNG to help both make decent power, and also get awesome mileage?

Thanks!
I dont believe 55 MPG, the additional efficiencies dont merit that kind of an increase.
The EGT's can go both ways, more power more heat higher EGT's, more efficienciy better burn less heat lower egts.
IMO opnion i would only do this if your going for extra milage. Adding propane can casue pre-ignition when going for power. The PCM controls the ignition event, when propane is induced since it is a fuel and can pre-ignite and brake piston skirts and ring glands and cause alot of problems. Its a fine line of performance and better milage.
Read page 112 in the October issue of diesel world, and page 68,72, and 87 of the September issue of diesel power. I'm not talking about propane dude. I said Compressed Natural Gas. That's a tad bitty different.
