Yes, next I would throw on a pressure gauge on it. Check over the injector rail lines. If theres a kink somewhere, it will be overpressure.
i'd pick up a fuel filter for $5 and a fuel pressure regulator for another $5-10. Easy swap. 87 there are two Socket head cap screws, but the others are 3, which are bolted upside down...its fun to take them off
