how long do you guys go between oil changes i've been tol every where from 3 to 10 thousand depending on mileage? i've been goin about 3 to 4 sometime 5 but i try not to.

 

General rule with regular oil is every 5K you can get blackstone reports and go longer. You can also go with Synthic oils and go 10K or more, I currently run Schaeffers Syn and I plan on going 10K before my first change.

 

If you want to know for sure, get a oil report on your oil from Blackstone Labs. Without it you sorta guessing. I'm up to 7500 and could go more according to Blackstone. 5k is the normal and what I always used until I sent some used oil off to Blackstones.

 

5k for me as well.

 

15/40 delo 400 LE ...10 bucks a gal.stock filtering..blackstone said go to 8500 with no worries...but im going to change filter at 5000 just to be safe..

 

5K is alway a good time. Compare to a Rebuilt 7.3 cost I can change at 5000.
