How did it turn out today, Steve? Your wife gave me updates after she talked with you on her cell while we were at the McCain rally. Sorry to hear it's been such a PITA. I bet being in a motorhome sure doesn't help working on that engine either does it?
The rally was awesome!! We met up with another couple I know so we sat with them. Darren White, Pearce, Wilson were all there. And a surprise guest was also there... Robert Duvall!! He got a bigger cheer when he walked in than any of the Congressional candidates. Of course McCain and Palin got the biggest cheers. Palin mentioned that Duvall and McCain were friends and he was putting them up for the night. Cool!! Same ol' speeches you've heard the last week or so. There were tons of enthusiasm and deafening cheering - like it was a rock concert - flags, signs, etc etc. Suzanne and I went down to try and get a few handshakes after. I got to within 5 - 6ft of all of them - McCain, Palin, Todd Palin, Cindy McCain, but not quite close enough for a handshake. Neither candidate had any of their kids there. Funny thing - there was no sign of Richardson, Mayor Marty or Udall. Folks I think we got us a winning ticket here!! I'm not as big a McCain fan as I am in the tank for Romney and Palin, but I think SarahCuda can whup McCain and keep him in line!! Get out and vote for America!!
She is running, need to install new plugs and get her on the road for this weekend!!
And yes being a motorhome makes it a PITA, there is no room to do anything!!
Suzanne enjoyed the rally and thanks you the the tickets.
