Blowing coal
Hi all:
Just left towing travel trailer for a weeks vacation.
My 06 6litre developed a mis and is blowing black. The side of my trailer is black. Oil level never dropped nor did coolant. No engine light.
I will have to take it in to the nearest dealer tomorrow.
Any ideas whats up here? Hopefully just an injector. Never ever had any problems yet. Hopefully not the dreaded head gasket problem.
Any ideas. would be greatly appreciated.

I would agree with that, however, it could actually still be both an injector and egr problem. But with the mis I would suggest injector before egr.
