It loads for a few seconds for me then closes and shows the red X in the top right. I have the latest version, and it's enabled. I dont know what to check now?

Totally agree. If you do not like the OT format or idea it's much like a radio station. Don't go anywhere near it. Chat rooms are for children and perverts that prey on children. The biggest factor being that if you are not there when a particular subject is being discussed it is gone forever. I won't bother you in your chat room, and you don't bother me in my OT thread. Deal?

I tried to get in to the chat room. Typed in my name and section, got nowhere. Kept getting the "need to be named" thing and my name WAS typed in. Finally the "closed by foreign host" thing. Did this twice. Like Mark said, if you don't like the OT, don't go there. So far I don't like the chat and won't be going there. It's your choice.

As often as I reference advice that is saved in the forum, that is the only way to go.

I have Java on my laptop.....chat still won't work. Doubtful I'd use it much anyways......

WHAT?!?!?! See the SNL in my sig?? The "None" for Users Chatting is wrong, it always says None, even when there's 14 of us in there!!!

You can't use IE for chat, you have to use Firefox or Opera. When you get the Java window open, you have to enter your name in the name box and hit enter. That will take you to the "Main" room. From there, you hit the "Channel" button and a drop down box will show the different chat rooms. Choose one, and join in!!

Now, the guys that hang out in Main, do talk tech and get,, uhhmmm, grouchy, if you want to only BS, so we go into the SNL room and have a blast!!! With the weather being so nice, there are not as many of us in there these days, but as soon as the weather turns, many more will come. We have had as many as 21 before, and you better be able to read and type fast or you'll be left out of the loop!!!
