Leaning Truck

Son's truck, 97 F-150 XLT Super Cab leans towards the driver side. When I looked under it, I see nothing visibility wrong. All springs, shocks look the same. Frame is straight, never been in an accident. Everything else looks the same between the left and right. All tires are the same with the propper pressures. Any advise?

Thanks,

It is normal wear and tear, just some weak springs on that side from the extra weight of the gas tank, driver, steering column etc etc. People ask about this every 6 months or so and it is always the D. side.

is it a 4 x 4? if it has torsion bar front suspension, you can crank the bar a couple turns and bring one side of the front end up if that would help.

Thanks, that is pretty much what I was thinking. I told him to hunt around and see how much it will cost to have springs replaced. I also told him that if he does one side, he'd better do the other side.

No, it's not a 4x4. Just your regular standard 2 wheel drive unit.

You might look for someone with a truck they are parting out(check craigslist), or a salvage yard for better conditon coils in the front and leaf springs in the back.
