I have been wanting to run my truck, but I haven't found the opportunity yet. I am glad to hear that you didn't break anything, though. That is one of my biggest fears also.

Interesting. The 4WD launch was a second faster at exactly the same speed.

lol my first time to the drag strip I ran a 16.3(i can't remember the MPH) in 2 wheel drive due to my front axle ratio not matching the back, cooking the tires in the box. It took about 8 passes to get that time. Next time back, first run 4wd ran a 16.0X. I was actually pissed, I expected to see a 15 second slip,5 runs and it was all 16.2-16.5.

I got a 10.01 at 69.87 w/ a .387 reaction time a couple of weeks ago in 2wd. I am a little skiddish about a 4wd launch knowing my luck I'll rip out the transfer case.

10.01 at 69mph with those mods? 1/8th mile right?

I might be wrong here but I dont think 4WD will disengage until you let off the go-pedal. I could be wrong tho...wouldnt be the first time

I think it depends more on if theres tourque on the front wheels, as opposed to throttle.

IE, it should unlock as long as the rear wheels have 100% traction...

This is, if I understand it ....

It will not unlock if you are on the throttle and racing.
