Warranty?

I have a 2007 F250 6.0 FX4 w/ 29k miles. Bought used last March w/ 25k miles on it. If the dealer sold the truck with a 2" leveling kit on it (installed by previous owner), would the warranty cover issues caused by the aftermarket mod? Just noticed today that the bottom of the front wheel trims are occasionally rubbing against the tires. I'm guessing during those bumpy drives down dirt roads.

Anybody?

No, it does not. The warranty from Ford covers the truck as it left the factory. A dealer can offer their own warranty on modded parts if they want to.

best bet is check your sales reciept...if it does not specifically address the leveling kit, you might be able to get something...

The dealership probably didn't even notice the leveling kit. I would say you are probably on your own.

Mark is right however there may be an addendum if the dealer installed the aftermarket parts.
