a/c recirculating system
I have a 2007 F250 6.0 FX4 King Ranch. The a/c recir. button likes to turn itself off when I shut the engine off. Is this a normal thing with this truck? It's driving my crazy because sometimes I'll forget about it, then drive past a dump or someplace similar. I really have no need to breath outside air. Putting the window down works pretty well anyhow. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I had a 2005 F350 Lariat that did the same thing. I was told that it was normal. I also asked if there was any way to change that particular behavior and was told no.
I now have a 2008 F150 Lariat and it does not do that. The only way the recirc. turns off now as far as I know, is if I press the auto button, or if I press the recirc. button.
