differential gasket?

how do i find out which rear end do i have?

in lmc trucks they have the gasket for the ford 8.8, is this the right one? i have a 94 f150 with a 300efi and an auto trans w/ overdrive

and if this isnt the right one which is the right one where should i look

You have an 8.8" axle, but just use RTV sealant to make a gasket. You don't need to buy one.

RTV is awsome. Its been used on every rear end i have had apart, and any1 else i know uses it also. alot cheaper then a gasket when 1 tube will seal a few differentials and other stuff.

Ford actually recommeneds RTV instead of a gasket.

I have never seen one of these trucks with a gasket on the differential, they all have RTV on them, and I'm pretty certain these trucks came from the factory that way.
