My hubs just started to go down hill on my truck and the truck just sprung a vacuum leak so I figured go the easier and cheaper route. I just pulled the trigger on some Warn Premium hubs for the truck a bit ago. I got them off E-bay for a tune of $201 shipped. I priced them at my local O'Reillys today and they wanted over 300 bucks for a set of Premium Hubs.
So hopefully by this weekend or next week I'll get them thrown in
Great job, you'll love them. Easy, easy mod. It took me longer to find the correct allen head wrench out of my roll-away than to actually install them.
These are the only hubs I have seen members use and I have never seen a problem yet Adam, Barry (zx250) sold me on them. I can jump out and lock my own hubs, it is nice having the autos but I like cheaper and more relible method .
Congrats. I went the extra mile and ripped out all the vacuum plumbing from the pump and capped it off. And capped off the vacuum nipples at the knuckles. You'll be glad you changed em out. I found my vacuum link when I was deer hunting. Was turning around on a narrow gravel road. Got the front a little over the edge (a steep edge), turned the 4x4 switch, nothing. Luckily I was able to set the e-brake and get out to lock the hubs.
