Flashing dash lights
Ok. I have a 76' ford f-250 4x4. The dash lights, dome light, and just my turning signal lights blink on and off. They do it sometimes but not always. I have no idea what to do and i would appreciate someones help.

first thing id interrigate is my light switch, it sounds like a problem i've had with my 82, and i also own one of these 76-er's thats my true baby there. 
anyway, this should work, i replaced mine and all my headlight woes went away.

[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 13-Mar-01 AT 11:04 PM (EST)[/font][p]Yeah, I'd wager it's either in the connector, or the resistance spring that dims the dash lights. Mine sat in the same position for a long time and got moist... thus the contact in the switch became corroded to the spring. I noticed my dash lights were really dim one time, so I turned the ****, the lights went out, the spring snapped, and within about 30 seconds I had to pull over and try to sweep the red-hot melted pieces of headlight switch out the door.
