Easy to lower?

Just curious if there is an easy inexpensive way to lower the Slicks a couple inches...

The easiest I've heard of is taking the bottom leaf out, turn it upside down, and put it on the top of the pack. I have no idea if that's a good idea or safe, but there was a thread about it a few months back.

Or, you could do what my trucks PO did and let the cab mounts rot away. Fixed now.

Most inexpensive way is to let some air out of the tires just kidding.
Depends on straight axle or twin I beam. Also depends what you mean by "inexpensive".
There are dropped front axles available for both the straight axle and the twin I beam front ends. Neither are really inexpensive.
If you're talking about the straight axle, I've heard about a couple of the guys running modified leaf springs or putting the axle on top of the leaf springs, but then you run into clearance issues with the axle and the oil pan and also diminished suspension travel.
