We've got plenty of threads regarding the vacuum pump and how it works the HVAC and ESOF systems. I know that I've read that ESOF puts out a short pull on the vacuum to activate/deactivate the hubs.
The thing I don't know is does the HVAC use a pulse or a steady vacuum to control the air direction gates? i.e. Does the vacuum pump run continuously if you have the system to the vents or floor? or is it just a pulse when you turn the ****?
Having had to replace the solenoid last year and the pump last week, I'm getting pretty tired of such a stupid setup...
