02 sensor ????'s

I have a 97 F250Ld 5.4L. I need 02 sensors at all 4 corners of my truck.

My neighbor has a '06 f150 w/ the 5.4L. He cut the cats off and gave me the 02 sensors from the truck. they are the 4 wire heated.

Will they fit my truck? I checked and the o2 sensors on his truck can swap back and forth from the front 2 to the back 2.

Let me know.. I hope I can do this.

Whenever I run into something like this I like to go to NAPA or Autozones site and just simply compare part numbers. I really doubt they interchange though.

It is extraordinarily improbable that you need 4 O2 sensors.

Doesn't mean a thing.

Downstream O2 sensors often last the life of the vehicle.

Unless you have a fault that indicates a need for service, you're just wasting your time and money.
