electrical gremlins

I have a 77 F250 with a 460. It was a Camper Special. Lately the receptacle on the cigarette lighter has stopped functioning. All the wires are hooked up, and I installed a 3 amp fuse, but still no power. Does anyone out there have experience with this? Everything else works fine.

You might try checking the fuse block with a meter to ensure that the voltage is getting through. I had to clean the terminals in my fuse block and apply some anti oxidation compound.

Is the 3 amp fuse holding up? I thought the lighter fuse was rated higher than this. (10amp?)
