I recently purchased a 1989 Bronco, but the wiring for the motor for the back window was cut out and removed by the previous owner. I have the connection for the key operation of the rear window that is in the gate, but I have no clue which wires go to that and which go directly to the motor itself. I have tested the motor, and it works fine; I have also tested all of the wires coming back from the main switch in the dash, and they appear to working properly. There are six leads coming out of the front dash switch, but I cannot determine where they go.
I even purchased a Chilton's Bronco Repair Manual, but it did not have any info on the wiring of the rear window. Please let me know if you know how to fix this or if you know of where I could get a wiring diagram for the rear window.
