Help!!!!

i know it's been a while since i posted. i've been going through a job change and a move to a new state. but i need somehelp. my trucks transmission is acting up. it's a 1999 f-150 4.6l, automatic with 4 wheel drive. the transmission has a rythmic vibration at 60mph, and it sometimes surges while i'm stopped at a light. today the engine jumped in rpm and i could barely keep it stopped at the light. any ideas? any help would be appreciated. oh yeah, it's lacking alot of power when traveling on a highway or trying to climb a hill. it'sjust had a tune up and oil change. theres no vibration in steering wheel, it's all in the floorboards and it's driving me nuts and becoming dangerous to drive.

Is there a check engine light?

It seems as though you are having two seperate issues here.....

"Rythmic" vibration is most likely a u-joint at the output shaft for the rear drive line....unless....4x4 is engaged....and then you know....

The other thing you are describing sounds fuel/tps/cps related.....unless the OSS for the trans is not disengaging the converter. An easy way to tell is to push the button for OD in the center of the shifter.....if it starts to blink....it is OSS or TSS...otherwise, you are looking for a TPS/CPS/Fuel issue
