i've been wondering if anyone has put some sort of light behind the grills of your truck.
i was thinking of putting them inside of the grill insert so the light will be pointing at the radiator and you could see the outline of the grill insert its self.
was thinkin bout a green neon bhind my black grill on mine.. figurd it mite look punk whiteboyish.. mite test it n e ways tho. the rest of the truck aint punkwite boy..
I have green marker lights (not neons) hidden behind the grill that light up the area. My rad support and radiator are black, and my grill is custom painted to match the truck on the inside with the standard chrome edge. It looks pretty mean lit up that way. I also have halo headlights that turn the outer edge of the headlights green as well. Again, no neons and no individual lights are visible, just the light glow behind the grill. It looks pretty cool parked at night with the parking lights on and the grill and headlights glowing green.

I bought a set of the 12v lights for the Xmas wreath at Boaters World, if you cant find a set, pm me, if you don't like them you can just use them at Xmas time.
I think I have to agree that rope lights make me think honda but its your truck I will throw this out there though I have seen and plan on putting two KC lights behind the grill THere out of sight until the flick of the switch and it makes the truck look real mean at night.
