Tilt steering mounts?
Anyone have any pics of the way you mount a tilt column. As far as braces or brackets. I tried to find a drop down with a single hole for it but with all the wires and rods, I don't think that would work. Anything would be a big help. Thanks RUSTY

Claude, I have one picture in my Gallery in the album for Ranger seats that has my Tilt column mounted to the bottom of the 49 dash. The column is out of a 70's t-bird. I fabricated the mount.

I did the "Rodder" thing again....... used what I had in the shop 
..... mounted 2 muffler clamps to secure the Ford tilt column in my 53, one under the floor and the other goes thru the old steering column drop bracket. Rock solid steady and pretty much invisible after paint..... plus it was cheap

Very clean & easy install for a G.M column in '48-'52 F-1 truck . This is the item that was used on the 1ST-RIDE to install a '80 Eldorado tilt /tele column .See pic in gallery .Sacramento Vintage Ford ( where I spent way too much $$ ) item # 7217-1 . No modifications required $50.00
