Hey all! I am finally getn' to the my 6637 install and I have a question about the filter minder and the other little sensor attached to the batter box. If I don't want to use em' how do I remove them so I won't mess anything up? And what is the little one for?
Intake air temp sensor, zip tie it up around the master cylinder. As far as the filter minder, no need to reinstall it with the 6637. It is calibrated for a panel filter that flows much less air. By the time a filter minder registered on a 6637, it would be so dusty you could plant a row of corn on it.

I recently moved the Intake air temp sensor from there to the other side of the filter where the fresh air enters (w/ help of a zoo-dad or core support hole cut before the 6637). Hoping that the puter's strategy may add additional fuel if it thinks the air is 'cooler'.
Anyone know if this sensor's output is used in the fuel table like a EEC gasser?
This came to my attention when I was told the intake air measurement was 145 degrees, when it probably is closer to 110-120.

It's part of the EBP circuit, so you might be better off keeping it in a warmer place to get the EPBV to open sooner.
