Hi All!
This is Joe's Wife.
I just wanted to let you know that Joe is in Abington hospital, It looks like an infection in his lungs.
He is pretty sick but he was talking about all you guys and what a great time he had in Carlsyle! He was having some flash-backs from his youth and thought he was dying, but we found out that you have weird dreams when they put you on "patch" to quit smoking, which by the way he is really considering!
I was worried about him when we first got to the hospital but he is cracking jokes ( i put my hand on his head because he was spiking a fever and told him he was hot and he said "thanks i really try!) and he is cracking up the nurses ( i have to bring in candy everyday because they have to put up with him!.)
I will keep you posted and ask that you keep him in your prayers.
Looking forward to another meet @ McKenna's and hope some of you will make the car show in Wildwood in September!.
To the best Ford owners on the planet!
Get well soon there Joe!! And thank you Tina for the update, I hope things turn out for the best! I'll come down and help you out with them nurses Joe!! Take care, and prayes sent you way!!!
Tina thank you for the update and please pass my wishes for Joe to have a speedy recovery on to him and also to make sure that he listens to the doctors and of course the nurses.
Get well soon, looks like the good attitude part is handled. Really, it does make the time there better, as well as the recovery faster. The nurses do love it, as many of their patients don't want to be there, and it reflects in their behavior toward the nurses.
Hey Joe! My prayers for a speedy and full recovery. When I was hurt recently, the support from this site, really meant a great deal to me.
As far as the nurses go. Looking is ok. Touching will create a longer stay. So keep your hands to yourself, and get well soon.
