differential fluid?
my differential gasket seems to be failing and i need to find out what differential oil to use until i can get the time to change the gasket
which oil do i use?

75w-something gear oil works. If you have LS add a few oz of friction modifier ifn its empty.
If this is stock, virgin, unmolested truck there may be no gasket at all - just a bead of RTV that dried up

Good advice. Also check to ensure the breather tube is not blocked.
