Advice Needed
I am pulling out my radiator support contraption this week, and need some guidance. I have already removed the headlights, grille, and plastic support that goes behind the headlights ect, and I removed the tranny cooler. The tricky part to me is where to start with removing the radiator and condensor. How do I remove these suckers, and which should be removed first?
Also I hear I should replace the cab mount bushings at this time, is that neccesary?

well if you removed a couple bolts, the radiator comes up and out - they dont get much easier than that. the condenser is about as easy but you have to vent it - not to the world, to a vacuum source.
you will need to remove your battery as well, under the battery tray, a support is bolted to the rad support, you will also need to move - not remove the vehicle harness - a number of grounds as well as keepers are in the support. the valence (below grill, above bumper) has to come out also.

You can replace the rad support without removing the rad and condenser, you will have to push them back some and possibly support them temporarally.
You will have to remove the battery and battery tray, washer fluid container, and anything else connected to the rad support under these parts. The fenders are bolted to the rad support from the front and back sides, as is the valance below the grill. When I did this on our Ranger I had to remove the front bumper too as there wasn't enough room to position the rad support with it on the vehicle.

Well I do need to replace the radiator, this is why I thought now would be a nice time to motivate me to replace the rad support, but I was looking at the radiator and it looks like the radiator has these fold over fins that go over the fan shroud, how do I take those off?

the 'fold over fins' are how el cheapo ford decided to do plastic tanks and aluminum rads, vs the old time brass/copper soldering.
