I just replaced my '03 headlights with some OEM '05 headlights and love them. Its a lot more work to do this because you have to cut the headerpanel but I like the one piece deal. The '03 corner lights I have do have the amber marker light but the rest is clear.
If you decide to do an 02-04 light swap make sure you get all the adjuster bolts! I got free lights from a member here, but some of the adjuster bolts are missing so I still haven't got them installed. You can't buy the adjuster screws from Ford without buying a whole flippin' headlight.
i have the 03 04 stock clear head lights and after market clear corner light..no moding..they set right in..the head lights i got from stock truck cause its hard to find a good bright light in the after market world..the corner lights are after market and i got them on ebay and put LED's in it.

I did factory 02-04 lights and ebay turns on my '00 w/ PIAA platinuim bulbs, huge improvement over the 99-01 style lights. I haven't seen any aftermarket headlights for these trucks that worked very well.
do yourself the favor and upgrade to the 05-07 headlights w/ the silverstar bulbd. they illuminate way better +n the cool factor. then do the $.10 britebox mod and you have very bright lights. the 02-04 are better than the originals, but they still do not compare.
stay away from aftermarket stuff. they might look cool, but that is about it.

listen to this guy..i love his 05 lights and grill with the 99-03 bumper...
Dave... you lost me on the "$.10 britebox mod" comment. Are you saying there's a way to do the britebox mod with a DIY approach for only $0.10? Or is there a $0.10 mod that can be done to the britebox to make it better?

I don't think I have enough confidence in my fabrication abilities to start thinking about doing any cutting. For my abilities, I believe in the KISS principle.

this mod does exactly what the $100 britebox achieves for a lot less.
when you upgrade to the 05+ headlights, you have to use a 9007/8 harness to adapt to the new bulbs. this leaves one of the original plus unoccupied. by adding a dioide to this free plug, it will keep the low beams on with the high beams.

So then you purchased one of those adapter plugs with the harness that runs across the front of the truck, or did you get something else? When I put my lights in I purchased the plug end and spliced the new harnesses in and took the old ones out. Guess I should have left one of those plugs inline.
