My other ratchets are good, I have not broken them( some I have, I broke
the selecter with srewdriver(abuse), I wanted a new one. so I got it exhaged for a new one

Go with the offset, I have basically the same thing and it's great for getting into weird spots, plus the offset lets you spin it like a speed handle to run bolts in.
