Looking for Exhaust Upgrade
I just bought a used 05 SuperCrew and have been looking for a stainless exhaust system. I had a Gibson setup on my 1995, which exited in front of the passenger side rear wheel. I looked up a new one and the cataloge stated that this show not be used for heavy towing. I wonder why?

not sure about gibson, but magnaflow has a system that exits before the wheels, i have a si/so magnaflow system and love the way it sounds and fit perfect

EGT's good call the placement of the muffler on the Gibson system does create additional back pressure under load. MagnaFlow just released a dual exit rear of the rear wheels. It looks like the new F150 Harley truck system.

I Also Have A Roush Duel Side Exit (in Front Of The Rear Passenger Wheel). It Is The Off-road Version. It Sounds Awesome. Truck Seems To Like It.

EGT with side exits can cause discoloration of paint and fender flares. Not sure of the impact on tires, but if there is its not a positive impact!

it discolored the rims and bumper on my 98 F-150...

im in the process of buying the magnaflow SIDO rear exit system I have a friend who has the same and its a great sounding system...
