Does anyone know the collectability/value of functioning Sun diagnostic equipment of 60s and 70s vintage? For example a tester for checking alternators and voltage regulators and batteries on the vehicle. Machine looks like the one pictured in the 1972 Ford Truck shop manual. Also, some other types.

What diagnostic equipment do you use if you don't collect these old Sun machines? Do you just use a good VOM meter and an AMP meter and a test light and a little by guess and by golly? I am not real good at this but am trying to decide which way to go so I can do more of the work myself.
I had posted this on the 60/70 vintage truck board but decided it may be more appropriate here.
Thanks.
