well here it is.... my 2000th post... hard to believe I've gotten to that level.
It all started in a little 5000 watt am station in Texas... wait ??? that was WKRP..
It started in 1997 back before the information cul-de-sac. We used Ken's email do-hickey to communicate... digests once a day and I couldn't wait to get them... 9600 baud...
Looking back from the pinnacle... all I can say is this is the finest group of individuals I've ever had the privilege of knowing... I consider each of you a friend and companion on our quest for the hiway... Kinda like the hitchhikers guide to the Universe but restricted by high fuel prices...
Thanks guys for pushing, leading, joining or hindering my trip this far... it has been some of the very best time I've ever wasted...
When looking through the threads I always click with interest when I see your posts. You have been a great source of info and enjoyment during my time here. In fact, you are to blame for me finding this little corner of the world. When I was contemplating fuel tanks for my truck I started poking around the internet trying to find info on Mustang tanks. Everytime I did a search I came up with your article on installing the Mustang tank, which led me here.
Being a member for 11 years and posting only 2000 times is a testimony to the thought and care you put into each post....unlike the blabbermouths that account for most of us.
As others have said, I have become more of a surfer of the forum lately and while I log on everyday, I let the newcomers handle most answers. But your posts, and a select few others, always draw my attention.

I certainly agree, that even with the changes to this site over the years; it still is the best place on the web to hangout. I browse a lot, and pick my spots to contribute, always interested in what the "stockers" have to say.
