Has Anyone Else Had Any Problems Under Braking. My 2005 Screw Periodically Has A Weird Vibration That Goes Right Up To The Steering Wheel. If It Happens It Is Under Braking But The Amount My Steering Wheel Shakes Can Not Be Normal. Usually If It Happens It Is At Speed, Around 60-70 Mph As I Come Off The Freeway, Yet It Does Not Always Happen.
my 05 screww does the same thing only comming off of highway speeds. I replaced all of the brakes and service the caliper slides, I even took the rotors in to be machined and I still get it.
Sounds Like What I Have A Problem With. Did You Take It To The Dealer? I Think I May Video It When It Happens Again. I Have Had The Dealer Look But They Never Find Anything. Maybe Video Can Help Them. I Just Do Not Want To Spend A Fortune Fixing Things That Are Not The Cause. So Far I Have Not Been To Impressed With The Ford Dealerships.
have your front rotors machined....but make sure the shop doing it has an on-car lathe. machining the rotor while still attached to the hub makes sure there is no runout between the rotor and hub.....rotor runout is what causes high-speed pulsation issues(usually felt in the steering wheel), and will also lead to rotor thickness variance(low speed pulsation, usually felt in the brake pedal)
