Headlight swap

i need to change the headlights on my 99 f250sd, is it possible to swap them out for a newer style like the 05 style? i love the clear plastic style of the newer lights.

You can do a straight swap for anything up to 04. The 05's will require some modifications to the plug harness and the support bracket behind the headlights.

ya 05s are possible with a little trimming

So I could get 03 or 04 lights and put them right in on my early 1999 without any modifications to the truck to make them fit?

What about the electrical connections?

How simple is the swap...really?

What years did the clears start on the trucks?
