Vaccuum problems with 302
I have a 1986 F-250. I recently swapped a 351W out of my truck and exchanged it with a 302. I am having problems with the vacuum hook ups. Does anyone have a good schematic of the lines?? I took a lot of things off of the 351W and put on the 302, timing chain cover, water pump, exhaust manifolds, etc. I got rid of the emissions stuff on it. My truck is over heating and the tranny will not shift right. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I keep looking at this post, trying to decide how to help you. But I don't know how a diagram is going to help when you took the emission stuff off anyway. Is it fuel injected?

What things need vacuum ?
I just checked a Haynes manual.
There are a TON of Vacuum conncetions to consider.
You're there, we aren't !
Hmmmm !
Write a list while you're looking at the engine.
Distributor ?
Transmission ?
Brake Booster ?
Is it Fuel Injected ?
