What, you never saw gears and steel's and drums, etc, etc. fall out of a trans that had just had its fluid changed? That old clutch material filled fluid is like crazy glue I tell ya!

I think this "Mark Kovalsky" fellow ought to be thrown out of this fourm. How DARE he come in here ( he is a retired Ford transmission engineer, apparently with many years of technical experience) and give info. that conflicts with our "back-yard blow-hards" who "know" because they "feel" or "believe", or because they were told by the guy who sweeps out MacDOnald's at night who has a brother who has a coaster wagon told them, etc. etc. etc.
