I have a 01 f150 supercrew with 108,000, 33x12.50 and 4x4. While driving on a somwehat rocky roady this weekend it was brought to my attention that my drivers front tire looked like the lug nuts were loose. I drove slowly and watched out the window and sure enough the tire wobbles back and forth like it is going to come off. When i look underneath everything appears fine, ball joints, etc are all in tact and there is no sign of grease or anything. The passenger side front tire does not do this and when I drive on asphault the drivers tire is fine, no pulls or anything to give indication of allignment or out of balance. Anyone got any suggestions as to where I should start looking.
Thank You. I will check the wheel bearings. I did not even think of that. As for the tires, they are BFG A/T. They are about six months old and appear in good condition.
