turbo waste gate

HI everyone I have a question about my Turbo's waste gate I was on a trip an dirt roads an the C clip that holds the arm on came off so the waste gate could not open I drove it for about 10 miles befor I could stop an look. I put it back on an it acts like it is working like it should. could I have damaged anything driving like that . Thank you Rick

Nope.

If the actuator isn't hooked up, the wastegate flapper will be open all the time and you'll get very little boost, but it doesn't affect anything else.
