nope... just the plugs... I inspected the cap and wires and they checked out ok...
I did notice that one of the wires didnt "CLICK" when i plugged it in, but it isnt lose as I tugged on it a bit and couldnt pull it out without the normal work it takes to take it out...
Yes replace the filter, it never hurts to do so but I doubt it the problem here.
Do not cut the lines, they are high pressure and can not be spliced with hose clamps.
You can buy a set of line release tools for around 12 bucks to release the line to get it off. Just ask at the counter when you buy your parts, the guy/gal should know exactly what you need.
Takes a little patience working to get them to release with the tool once the line has been undisturbed for a long period of time.
Be sure to push the tool in all the way before trying to pull the line out. Pulling on the line without fulling inserting the tool has a tendency to bend the fingers and they bite in making even harder to undo it.
Take your time, use a little lube like WD-40 to aid in getting the tool to slide in, also flushes dirt out. At the same time be sure to keep your hands clean and dry so you can get a grip!
Bought both the metal scissors looking tool (broke it trying to use it) and the plastic color tools to remove. Was at it for over three hours. Had my brother come over and give it a go to make sure i wasnt doing it all wrong... Neither of us was able to get them hoses off!
Do have some nice scars on my hands to show for it though
