I was under my 2000 F-150S/C 4x2 the other night when I found a tag tucked in the right front frame end. Says "Defective Material Do Not Use!" a picture of the frame and below that "L/S Bad Perf" (see abcdefghi / Maverick for a pic. Sorry for no link but this site would not let me establish one.)
Took it to my dealer who had never seen one before. They had a Ford rep look at it . He is checking with the factory and frame mfg and says he will get back to me .
Have any of you ever come across such a thing? Anybody have any contacts that might KNOW what it means. I have had lots of guesses but no one that knows.
Check your trucks guys.
