Be very wary of the mini spring pack that he is selling. This was posted in a thread some time ago. Kris noticed that the leaves are welded together which is a big no no. It is the same thing as putting a block under your front springs. They are probably made from the wrong type of steel also. Please don't be lured by the low price and compromise you, your family's or others safety.
I bought this mini spring pack off sanderson welding. why do you said it's a big no no for welding them together?
Anyone ever considered lowering the rear end a bit instead of raising the front? Would like to see how it would look on my excursion with 285's. How would be the best way to do this without effecting ride?
I've been considering the same by replacing my rear 4" blocks with 2" to 2 1/2" blocks. If I raise the front 2" to 2 1/2" it wont fit in the garage.
i can't see what differnce it makes with a mini spring pack if it's welded or not. the springs ain't going to flex anyway. if you see them up close you'll know they are WAY too short to. besides they are bolted through the factory springs anyway, in essence they are all acting like a block IMHO.
