Guys it has nothing to do with the chrome oval.

The reference I made to the BLUE FORD OVAL, was that it will be hard to get Ford to approve a design with the blue Ford oval in it.

"www.ford-trucks.com" and use must be approved by FTE.

Maybe a search for a Chapter Leader would be in order first.

I pm'd Tim this morning about this thread and asked for his approval/corrections on the avatar.

I also want to thank George and all the other members who have been helping us with getting our chapter started.

 

BarryMc has expressed intrest in being the chapter leader. Hint hint hint.

 

Well, i've been thinking about it, but, I might be changing jobs and it will take me out of town some. Didn't know if a chapter leader needed to be by the computer at least once a day. I'll know something about the job in a week or two, I could possibly put my name in the hat for the CL after that.. depending on the outcome of my interview.

 

well Barry if you wanna wait till your work gets straight im up for it! and by the way i like that logo sure nuff and if ford or whoever may have a problem with it they'll just hafta understand that this is mississippi and we do what we want!

Here is a design we use on our shirts to give you an example. We found out the multi-colored designs whether it be for stickers, shirts, etc. are very expensive to have made.

Mississippi can learn a lot from Delaware.

 

They seem to have it going on in Delaware!!! But I did lurk around the La chapter.....must say I love the mud racing in there. Wish it would catch on up here in North Mississippi. I know a few people down south Ms that is into it heavy and enjoy going to watch them when I go back to my old hometown.

 

Here is the original image minus the fte and MS chapter verbiage. There was some concern regarding associating the stars and bars w/fte or Ford. A few people wanted to use it as their personal avatar and that's ok. NOT to be reproduced on hats, stickers, shirts etc. I'll try and come up with a more yankee-friendly logo asap.



George, where did you guys get the images for those stylized Fords on your logos?

 

I wish I could get that on the front of my truck to replace the blue one.

He drew those trucks (if so, very impressive!) or did he use clip art to create the design?
