Realign Moonroof
Any tips on reinstalling a moonroof? My moonroof on my '00 expedition was only flipping open and closing, but would not slide back. So i opened the flipped it open, and removed the glass which allowed me to look down the track. there i found a small part that allows the mechanism to slide along the track. the bolt had come off, and the part fell off. so i reassembled everthing, and all seems to work, except the glass does not close snuggly when i put it in the closed position. its almost like the track does not move all the way up to the closed position (put it does flip open, which means it is all the way forward).
Am i missing something as far as aligning the roof goes?

FYI...figured it out. Since i had "closed" the roof without the glass on, the mechanism was not sliding all the way forward when i was trying to reinstall. There are a couple of latches under the plastic guides that you manually push in, then slide the whole track as far forward as you can. you then can drop the roof back in, then while aligning the roof from above, tighten each of the 4 bolts. works like a charm now.
