Well i think i have a better idea of what it is now... Definitely a vac leak. I bought a new tps and threw it on there, then the idle started being wacky cause it must not have been calibrated that well. but if i just leave the IAC disconnect the engine still gets enough air to idle around 800 rpms, and i can drive it around just fine without the idle sticking around 1500rpms between shifts and when i come to a stop at intersections.

After my oil pan change, when i put the upper intake manifold back on, i kinda think i stripped the passenger rear bolt. so i'm guessing that it's simply not sealing very well back there, even if i get 20 hg vacuum. But i have a gt40 intake/cam/heads that'll be going on in a lil while so i bet if i seal everything up right that my idle should be fine.
